Summer is here. That means that our annual summer picnic is coming up on July 31. And it means football season is fast approaching! Check back this fall for information on viewing parties to watch the Nittany Lions work towards a Big Ten Championship. The Chapter also has a limited number of tickets to the Penn State at Minnesota game. Details are below.

Join us for our Annual Summer Picnic on Saturday, July 31, starting at 2PM. Stay until the embers die out from Britt's evening bonfire (well, or at least until we stop adding wood). Please plan to bring a dish/dessert to pass and your drink of choice. We also recommend bringing lawn chairs. The Chapter will supply the brats, burgers, hot dogs, buns and paper goods. The picnic has always been a relaxing way to spend a weekend afternoon, with lots of great people and delicious food. Feel free to bring any Penn State memorabilia you wish to share, or Blue Band music to play. We hope to see you all there! Please RSVP by July 18 so we can get a headcount.

The Chapter has been awarded a limited number of tickets to the Penn State at Minnesota football game on October 23. Tickets are $60,and there will be an initial limit of two tickets per person. If you are interested, you must provide a 50% deposit when you place the order with our Chapter and provide the balance when we hand you the tickets. Tickets are to arrive two weeks before the game. Tickets will be awarded on a first to pay basis. We can try to obtain more tickets if there is enough interest, but there are no guarantees. Contact Michele if interested - jmandersen91@aol.com.

Our annual holiday party at the Fedorczaks is now scheduled for December 11.
